HOW DO I GET THE APP?
WHEN WILL THE APP BE FINISHED?
From day one, our philosophy has been to focus on making something Nandocas will love. To achieve that, we’re committed to launching early and often to learn how people use the app, and then make changes to meet their needs. This allows us to iterate, improve, and adapt to change quickly.
The current version of the app is really still a trial of the core features - our whole process is built around collaborating with Nandocas. As time passes we learn more and the features will get better. We want to build the very best app we possible can, so that you can be the best Nandoca you can possibly be.
IS MY PHONE SUPPORTED?
For now, we’re focusing on iOS and Android smartphones. We support the latest versions of iOS (9.3.5 and newer) and Android (5.0 and newer). On Android we support Nougat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Oreo OS, but not Kitkat.
HOW DO I SHARE A NEWS STORY IN THE APP?
If you have a news story that you’d like to publish to all app users, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org where a member of the editorial team will discuss it with you further.
At the moment we’re only accepting stories that can be shared with all of Nando’s, however the team is working on ways to make publishing in the app less restricted, so keep your eyes open for updates.

How do I publish the rota onto the app?
To publish the rota on the app press the "commit" button in the rota tool once you're done creating the rota. For detailed information about how the rota tool works with the app click here.
I’M HAVING TROUBLE LOGGING IN, WHAT DO I DO?
To successfully log into the app, please make sure your phone number in MyNando's is in the following format:
- UK & Ireland: add “0” to the beginning of your mobile number e.g. 07xxxxxxxxx (UK) or 08xxxxxxxxx (Ireland)
- International: add "+" then the country code e.g. +353xxxxxxxxx
If your phone number is entered into the system in a format that isn't recognised it may not work. If you have entered your number correctly but still can’t log in please contact the app team at email@example.com with more details so they can investigate further.
MY PHONE ISN'T SUPPORTED, WHAT DO I DO?

I received A NOTIFICATION ABOUT A NEW ROTA BUT WHEN I LOOKED IN THE APP NOTHING HAD CHANGED. WHAT’S THE DEAL?
The app uses notifications to let you know when a new rota is published, or when changes to your rota are made. Sometimes the app team will send notifications about new features as well, but we don’t do it very often.
If a rota manager publishes a rota that’s too far in the future to be shown on the app, or accidentally publishes a rota for a date that’s in the past, you will receive one of these confusing notifications. This is a known issue and we’re working on a fix for it.
