What is the Nandoca app?

The Nandoca App makes working at Nando's even better. See all your shifts and your full restaurant rota in one place, get updates from your restaurant and be the first to see news and stories from across the business and your region.

The Nandoca App gives Nandocas direct access to information, news resources and opportunities to enable them to be the best they can be. Its a place to keep connected and informed about what's happening in Nando's.

HOW DO I GET THE APP?

The app is available to all Nandocas in the UK and Ireland. You can download it on the App store or Google play store.

IS MY PHONE SUPPORTED?

For now, we’re focusing on iOS and Android smartphones. We support the latest versions of iOS (9.3.5 and newer) and Android (5.0 and newer). On Android we support Nougat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Oreo OS, but not Kitkat.

HOW DO I SHARE A NEWS STORY IN THE APP?

If you have a news story that you’d like to publish in your restaurant speak to your Patrao – they have the ability to write and publish stories for you.

If you want to send out a story to all of the Nando’s family, send it to communications@nandos.co.uk where a member of the Nandoca Communications team will discuss it with you.

How do I publish the rota onto the app?

To publish the rota on the app press the "commit" button in the rota tool once you're done creating the rota. For detailed information about how the rota tool works with the app click here

I’M HAVING TROUBLE LOGGING IN, WHAT DO I DO?

To successfully log into the app, please make sure your phone number in MyNando's is in the following format:

  • UK & Ireland: add “0” to the beginning of your mobile number e.g. 07xxxxxxxxx (UK) or 08xxxxxxxxx (Ireland)

  • International: add "+" then the country code e.g. +353xxxxxxxxx

If your phone number is entered into the system in a format that isn't recognised it may not work. If you have entered your number correctly but still can’t log in please contact the app team at nandoca@nandos.co.uk with more details so they can investigate further.

I received A NOTIFICATION ABOUT A NEW ROTA BUT WHEN I LOOKED IN THE APP NOTHING HAD CHANGED. WHAT’S THE DEAL?

The app uses notifications to let you know when a new rota is published, or when changes to your rota are made. Sometimes the app team will send notifications about new features as well, but we don’t do it very often.

If a rota manager publishes a rota that’s too far in the future to be shown on the app, or accidentally publishes a rota for a date that’s in the past, you will receive one of these confusing notifications. This is a known issue and we’re working on a fix for it.

I'VE SPOTTED A PROBLEM WITH THE APP

If something in the app isn't working, we want to hear about it! Either:
